Amazon, which pioneered digital shopping, now commands a whopping 49% of the U.S. e-commerce market, boasts an e-commerce operational model and distribution network that is unrivaled at retail.  However, Walmart is 3 times bigger than Amazon, but has plans to take a chunk of the U.S. e-commerce market.
